Building a lifetime of recovery requires a strong foundation. At The Guest House, we equip clients with the therapeutic tools and life skills they need to unearth their trauma and find solid ground. Our sober living community, Rumi House, gives people the space they need to build anew.
Our Place to Heal
The Rumi House community is gender-specific. Women live in our comfortable five-bedroom home with a kitchen, living room, and dining room for community meals. Men live in our spacious five-bedroom house with an additional garage loft and downstairs apartment. Guests can relax and unwind from a day of deep work on our screened-in porch, by the fire pit, or floating in our pool. In the meantime, Rumi House team members work with them to impart valuable life skills such as cleaning, cooking, resume building, budgeting, and more.
Above all, we provide a comfortable, elegant environment for healing – the standard for which The Guest House is known.
Sober Living Home in Florida
One of the challenges of recovery after treatment is maintaining the feeling of community. Sober living provides the unique opportunity to continue your recovery journey outside a treatment setting but keep a community that is on the same journey. This enables an individual to attach to a sober lifestyle and other sober people.
The Rumi House is actually two single-family, gender-specific homes located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that is situated in SE Ocala just minutes away from Silver Springs State Park.
- Staffed 55 hours a week
- 10 total bedrooms
- Private Apartment and Loft at the men’s home
- Pool and fire pit access at both homes
- Direct primary care subscription to Faithfully Guided Health Center
Exploring the World of Recovery
The Rumi House provides each person in our community with a variety of opportunities to explore life in recovery- and to explore themselves. The journey begins with complimentary membership to Faithfully Guided, a local holistic health center offering functional medicine and restorative therapeutic services to help our guests become fully embodied in recovery.
From there, excursions and activities illuminate the world of recovery, offering a glimpse of new happiness and freedom. Activities may include:

Located in the heart of Ocala, The Guest House Ocala is the world’s leading trauma treatment and addiction treatment center. We understand that everyone’s story starts before treatment, and we give every client the space and time they need to tell that story and to write the next chapter in recovery.
Guests of our residential program live on-site, but Rumi House is an appropriate recovery-supportive living environment for clients in our:
- Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
- Outpatient Treatment
- Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Residents may file a grievance using our grievance forms which are located next to the grievance box in the office area at the Rumi House.
Employees or residents may turn in forms to the CRRA or place them in the grievance box to ensure anonymity until reviewed by the Administrator. All grievances will be reviewed and addressed by Administrator within 72 hours.
